Mum’s Scones

Savory, buttery, cheesy scones!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of self raising flour
  • 150g of cold grated butter
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 cup of grated cheese

Method

  • Kneeded together into buttery flour bread crumbs lumps
  • Comes together as slightly crumbly dough which you can push together
  • Roll out to 2.5 cm thick
  • Sharp sided cookie cutter
  • Bake at 200 fan forced in a hot oven
  • Kneed as little as possible
